Rentokil Initial, the world’s largest pest control company, has announced that CEO Andy Ransom will retire by the 2026 Annual General Meeting. Mr Ransom has served on the board for 17 years, including 12 years as Chief Executive. The search for his successor is now underway, led by Chair Richard Solomons.
Rentokil Initial who celebrate their 100th anniversary in 2025, continue to lead globally in Pest Control and Hygiene & Wellbeing services. With a workforce of around 68,500 colleagues across 89 countries, the business generates annual revenues of approximately £5.5 billion. Over 93% of its revenue comes from international markets outside the UK, serving more than 5 million customers and delivering over 34 million service visits each year.
This marks a significant leadership transition for a company with a century-long legacy of innovation, growth, and global impact.
