About the Role
Essity is looking for an experience Brand Manager. This job is responsible to support in the execution of innovation strategies and initiatives for the North American Consumer Goods business unit. They will be reviewing market and sales trends as well as helping to identify new opportunities for new projects and driving innovation initiatives.
The ideal candidate should/could live in Philadelphia, PA.

What You Will Do
- Research Market Trends: Collect, compile, verify, and analyze data on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
- Product Understanding: Collect, compile, verify, and analyze data on product performance and customer feedback to identify areas of quality and performance improvements.
- Sales Trends: analyze category specific volume and sales data for new products and product features to identify new innovation opportunities.
- Drive Innovation Initiatives: Manage cross-functional teams to deliver idea, concept, business case, product, claims, packaging, communication, launch plan and KPIs for tracking with the support of a Brand Innovation Manager.
- Support Execution of Innovation Strategies: Support the development and implementation of innovation strategies that align with the brand/category goals and market trends to drive superiority and differentiation.
- Identify Opportunities for new projects or upgrades: Analyze existing assortment and market, consumer and sales trends to identify areas for new innovation initiatives or upgrades to drive superiority and differentiation in the market.
- Product and Packaging Graphics Coordination: Support the project team in managing timelines and deliverables related to both packaging and product graphics, including bags, individual wrappers, release papers, and non-woven print designs. Track progress, flag potential delays, and help maintain momentum to meet key milestones.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with various departments, including marketing, sales, product development, and R&D to develop and execute innovation initiatives.
Who You Are
Educational Background: A degree in business, management, or a related field is typically required; advanced degrees may be preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of proven track record in brand marketing, product marketing or innovation management, or a related area, with experience in working with cross-functional teams
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market trends and identify opportunities for innovation.
Creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with diverse teams.
