About the Role
Essity North America Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking a Production Manager who will provide leadership and provide direction in the manufacturing of medical grade foam used in the production of advanced wound care products while optimizing continuous production processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. The ideal candidate should live in the Manchester, CT area or is willing to commute.

What you will do
- Demonstrate uncompromised commitment to our I Care journey which ensures a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment.
- Facilitate the application of Global Manufacturing Excellence principles and tools (work instructions and procedures for safety, quality, CIL maintenance, etc.).
- Ensure foam is manufactured within current company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices and/or relevant ISO standards.
- Implements and revises written procedures related to manufacturing operations while actively participating in problem-solving initiatives.
- Monitor production metrics to respond to and resolves issues at the source.
- Coordinate maintenance, turnarounds, and downtime for efficiency and speed.
- Coach foam production operators in best practices to provide a safe and efficient work environment and resolve escalated issues and problems.
- Tracks competencies of subordinates and provides leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives.
- Identifies CAPEX needs to support midterm plans.
- Act as a role model for team and accountable for performance & consequence management, coaching and education within their department.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience (Manufacturing/Production Operations, Quality, Engineering).
- 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must maintain a clean shave and will to wear a full-face respirator
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma certification strongly preferred.
- Experience working in a regulated industry such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of MS office computer software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to lift to approximately 50 lbs. and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and/or reach.

Compensation and Benefits:
$95,000 - $105,000 + annual incentive bonus + benefits
