We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and treating residential and commercial properties for pests. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of pest control techniques, the ability to operate various tools and equipment, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and determine the appropriate treatment plan
- Apply pesticides and other pest control products to eliminate pests safely and effectively
- Install traps, baits, and other pest control devices as needed
- Provide recommendations to customers on how to prevent future pest infestations
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete all required paperwork
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Drive company vehicles to customer locations in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pest control or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of common pests, their habits, and effective treatment methods
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in pest control operations
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
