About the role
In this role, you will support UK Retail and Distribution teams by helping them identify and manage regulatory compliance while driving long term improvements in pest risk management and quality standards. Your work will strengthen customer trust, raise store standards and reduce operational risk across the business.
You will be responsible for
- Acting in line with the Business Code of Conduct, demonstrating integrity and due diligence.
- Supporting the Group Pest Control Manager in improving pest control regulatory compliance across stores, distribution centres and the wider group.
- Helping maintain quality standards by supporting the review of findings from independent pest audits.
- Contributing to the group pest strategy by reviewing and delivering new technologies and legislation on site.
- Reviewing the delivery of bird work and pest projects by WGL, providing documented feedback to improve systems.
- Assessing store compliance with pest control recommendations based on agreed risk profiles.
- Supporting the delivery and implementation of Design Standards and Store Development.
- Preparing detailed business reports, including weekly retail, distribution and property pest reports, to drive improved compliance.
- Using data to identify trends and key risks in pest control.
- Building strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the wider team in improving store performance in pest control and regulatory compliance.
- Supporting Regulatory Compliance Managers in driving store standards when needed.
- Managing ongoing personal and professional development.
You will need
- Qualified to first degree level in a relevant discipline (desirable).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and delivering to deadlines.
- Good presentation and IT skills.
- Understanding of pest control principles and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated interest in pest management and related industry practices.
- Managing relationships with stakeholders.
- Attention to detail.
