Summary
Official Pest Prevention is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to provide executive leadership over service delivery and branch operations throughout Northern California. Reporting directly to the Company President, this role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, leadership development, and elite customer service. The Director of Operations plays a key role in executing company strategy and supporting growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational oversight including financial planning, personnel management, and asset utilization
- Directly oversee Branch Managers and branch operations
- Own P&L responsibility and ensure branches meet revenue and profit targets
- Establish, track, and analyze KPIs; develop data-driven improvement plans
- Collaborate with executive leadership on business strategy, forecasting, and growth initiatives
- Lead, coach, and develop Branch Managers and branch leadership teams
- Monitor sales performance and partner with Sales Leadership on growth opportunities
- Create and maintain SOPs; identify operational efficiencies and areas for improvement
- Ensure full compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements
- Partner with Sales and Customer Service teams to grow customer relationships and top-line revenue
- Participate in pest control associations for networking and continuing education
- Model company standards for professionalism, communication, and accountability
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the pest control industry or a comparable service-based industry
- Minimum 5 years of management or senior leadership experience
- Required state pest control licensure or ability to obtain
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Lives within a reasonable commuting distance of Elk Grove, CA
- Demonstrated experience managing P&L and financial statements
- Strong analytical, operational, and business development skills
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work non-standard business hours as needed
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Legally authorized to work in the United States

- Indoor and outdoor work in all seasonal weather conditions
- Exposure to elevated temperatures (attics, crawl spaces)
- Regular use of industry tools, equipment, and pest control products
- Daily travel between branch locations
- Exposure to pests, pest droppings, traps, and pest control materials

Pay: $110,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
