Are you passionate about employee health, workplace wellness, and occupational healthcare? We are looking for an Industrial Nurse to join our team and help promote a safe, healthy, and productive work environment for our employees.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will provide nursing care and occupational health support, assist with employee wellness initiatives, and contribute to workplace safety programs and preventive healthcare efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Physician in providing medical care and support to employees.
- Process and manage employee medical leave documentation and records.
- Provide first aid, wound care, and primary healthcare services.
- Support hiring processes, including drug screenings and medical evaluations.
- Administer oral and intramuscular medications as required.
- Maintain medication inventories and distribute medical supplies.
- Monitor and support vulnerable employees, including pregnant employees and those with chronic health conditions.
- Maintain and organize employee medical records and clinical files.
- Deliver health awareness initiatives and wellness campaigns.
- Participate in cafeteria and sanitation audits related to employee health and wellness.
- Support safety-related activities, including work-at-height permit processes.
Requirements
- Technical Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Industrial Nurse.
Knowledge & Experience
- First aid and primary healthcare.
- Emergency response and safety brigades.
- Management of medical records and employee leave documentation.
- Occupational health and wellness promotion.
- Computer proficiency and Microsoft Office skills.
