Sales Manager Health & Medical Colombia

What You Will Do
- Achieve the sales and profitability targets established for the Healthcare business in Colombia.
- Identify, develop, and implement the commercial plan aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Design the commercial strategy, drive customer development, and define the optimal go-to-market approach to maintain category leadership within the channel.
- Prospect new opportunities and capture additional business with both existing and potential customers.
- Lead and support the team of sales representatives, establishing and executing development plans to strengthen their capabilities and performance.
- Develop sales forecasts for the short, medium, and long term, and monitor execution to ensure alignment with targets.
- Lead the definition and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure successful execution of the agreed commercial plan.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Medical Sciences, or a related field. Postgraduate studies or MBA preferred.
- More than 10 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical companies, healthcare sales, or pharmaceutical distribution within Colombia.
- Proven experience in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical industry.
- Availability to travel up to 60%.
- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish
- Strong expertise in distributor management, sales, and commercial negotiations (B2B).
- Deep understanding of the healthcare market, including key stakeholders, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics. Comprehensive knowledge of the Colombian healthcare system.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performance teams.
- Solid experience in budget management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and KPI tracking. Strong analytical capabilities.
- Solid interpersonal, negotiation, and assertive communication skills.
- Collaborative team player with strong multicultural awareness and sensitivity.
