As Innovation Process Technician, you will have responsibility in the planning, developing and optimizing water treatment processes and sustainable products.
The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland, with good public transport connection (Tram 10) and free car parking.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Working independently with treatment process at pilot scale
Handling process optimization projects including experience planning, execution and presentation of the results
Hands on work, such as installation on hydraulic facilities, implementation of prototypes
Working with water/chemicals, mechanical tools, electro-mechanics, process analyzers, control and automation
Oualifications:
You have either an education in chemical production or as chemical laboratory technician or a bachelor degree in Science, preferably in Chemical Process Engineering
Professional experience (3-5 years), preferably in water or wastewater treatment
You like strong diversity tasks and hands on work in technical labs/workshops/chemical labs
You show self-initiative and creativity, you are flexible and able to work under pressure
You are mobile and you like to travel worldwide also over several weeks
You have a good team-oriented working capability with excellent communication skills to work in close co-operation with our other internal international departments, suppliers and customers
English-knowledge for daily business use. German, French or other languages are an added value
You are Swiss or EU citizen or have a C Swiss resident permit
