The Logistics Safety Leader for Latin Americais responsible fordefining, driving, and sustaining the regionallogisticssafety strategy, ensuring consistent deployment oflogisticssafety programmes and governance across all LA operations.
The role focuses onstrengtheningour Safety Culture, across the regionbypromoting safety leadership, ownership, and accountability at all levels.The person willbe responsible fordrivingourcontinuouslogisticssafetyimprovementsthrough robust KPIsmonitoring, field engagement, andcross functionalcollaboration.The role will also ensuretherobust governance ofEVD/iPOMS,leadingroot cause analysis (RCA), andpromotingstrong field engagement.
Own regionalEVD andiPOMSgovernance, tracking adoption, data quality, and performance against targets.
Define, monitor, and reportlogisticssafety KPIs,identifyingtrends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Participate in and supportSafetyeCAPsaudits, ensuring calendar adherence, clear action plans are defined based on audit gaps, and actions are closed on time.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Engineering, Operations, Safety, or a related field.
8+ years of experienceinlogistics, transportation, supply chain, or safety roles, with direct exposure tologisticssafety risk management.
Proven experience drivingsafety programmes in complex,multicountyoperations, preferably across Latin America.
Demonstrated experience managing chemical dangerous goods safety and chemical warehousing risk management, including handling, storage, transportation, and regulatory compliance requirements in logistics operations
Solid understanding oftransportation safety, chemical transfer risk, contractor safety, andlogisticsoperational risks.
Ability to influence and lead without direct authority, engagingcross functionalstakeholders (Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Safety).
Strong analytical,problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior leadership.
Demonstrated success indriving safety culture transformation, includingbehaviour-basedsafety, visible leadership, andspeak upculture.
