Clarke of Roselle, IL is seeking to hire a seasonal Part-Time Mosquito Trap Runner who will be responsible for traveling to mosquito traps in local communities to collect samples. Population and species data from these collections will be used to predict mosquito activity and determine necessary treatments. No experience is necessary, all training will be provided. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about outdoor activities, enjoys working independently, and has excellent attention to detail and communication skills. WORK SCHEDULE AND SALARY | GRAVID TRAP RUNNER
- Starting at $16/hr
- Monday & Tuesday; Between 7:00am and 3:00pm (end time depends on workload & route)
- Part-time seasonal position (generally May THROUGH end of September)
- Use of Clarke vehicle is required
- Additional work may be available on other crews Wednesday - Friday, if desired
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A GRAVID TRAP RUNNER
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record
- Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms
- Comfortable walking on uneven terrain
- Ability to operate smartphones and apps
- Must be able to work through the end of our season (September/October; route & weather dependent)
