Purpose of the Role
Rainbow Agriculture is seeking a results-driven and commercially astute Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead and grow strategic customer and distributor relationships in Morocco.
The role is responsible for managing sales operation end to end, driving sales performance, developing key accounts, and ensuring effective execution of Rainbow Agriculture’s commercial and product strategies in the Moroccan market. The position plays a critical role in revenue growth, market penetration, and long-term partnership development with key distributors and large customers.

Key Responsibilities
1.Key Account Management & Sales Execution
- Manage and develop assigned key distributors and strategic customers across Morocco.
- Manage end to end commercial process from Order to partner delivery.
- Drive sales growth, volume, and profitability in line with agreed targets and budgets.
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with Rainbow Agriculture’s commercial strategy.
- Lead pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements within approved guidelines.
2.Distributor & Partner Development
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with distributors, large farms, and key influencers.
- Support distributors in sales planning, forecasting, and territory execution.
- Monitor distributor performance and ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
- Identify gaps in coverage, capabilities, or execution and propose corrective actions.
3.Market Development & Product Promotion
- Execute product launches, demonstrations, and promotional activities in coordination with technical and marketing teams.
- Promote Rainbow Agriculture’s portfolio and value proposition to key customers and stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities, crops, segments, and regions for growth.
4.Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Collect and analyze market intelligence including competitor activity, pricing, and customer trends.
- Monitor regulatory developments and market dynamics impacting the Moroccan agriculture sector.
- Provide structured market feedback and insights to regional management.
5.Forecasting, Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, account status, risks, and opportunities.
- Coordinate closely with regional teams to ensure alignment on strategy, priorities, and execution.

Qualifications
1.Experience & Education
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development within agriculture or agribusiness
- Strong knowledge of the Moroccan agricultural market (crops, distributors, farming systems)
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Business, or a related field
2.Skills & Capabilities
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage complex customer relationships and long sales cycles
- Good analytical and forecasting skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English & French required; Arabic is a strong advantage
