Ready to lead outdoors and make a difference? Clarke is hiring a Seasonal Supervisor to oversee, train, and support our mosquito control crews. No experience? No problem! We provide hands-on training in every area.

Why You'll Love This Role:
- $20-$22/hr starting wage
- 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday (6/7:00 am–3/5:00 pm; hours may flex and may require a Saturday here or there)
- April–October seasonal schedule
- Company vehicles provided during workday
What You'll Need:
- Leadership skills and a commitment to excellence
- Motivated, flexible, and ready for physical activity (walking, biking, lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Strong English communication (written & verbal)/ability to present information in a variety of ways to engage a diverse workforce
- Prior experience training or mentoring others strongly preferred
- High school diploma or GED required, advanced technical training or degree strongly preferred
- This position may qualify for internship credit with university approval
- 18+ years old
- Valid driver's license & great driving record
- Required to pass Illinois Department of Agriculture exams (we'll train you!)
- Able to work the full season (April-October), independently and as part of a team
What You'll Do:
- Foster and maintain an effective and positive team culture at all times
- Learn the duties of all service crews and perform field work solo or with teams as needed
- Conduct quality checks, train new hires, and tackle special projects
- Treat backyards and catch basins for mosquitoes (on foot, bike, or off-road vehicle)
- Perform outdoor duties in often challenging terrains and weather conditions
- Assist with coordination of team and operational activities
- Work closely with manager regarding scheduling conflicts, service issues, equipment problems, employee relations and other management activities
- Ensure safety policies and practices are followed at all times
- Use a company smartphone for navigation and daily logs
- Utilize your strong computer skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Pay:
This position offers a base hourly compensation of $20.00-$22.00 per hour. This salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base compensation offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held
