At phs Besafe, we're looking for an ambitious Regional Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. This is a genuine 100% new business role, focused on identifying, winning, and onboarding new customers across the manufacturing, construction, and transport sectors.

The Role

As a Regional Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth within your territory. Working closely with local operational teams, you'll identify opportunities, conduct site surveys, develop tailored solutions, and secure profitable long-term contracts.

Once a customer is successfully onboarded, they will be handed over to our dedicated customer retention and account management teams, allowing you to stay focused on what you do best: winning new business.

What You'll Be Doing

Identifying and securing new business opportunities within your territory.
Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold calling.
Conducting customer site audits and surveys.
Designing tailored solutions incorporating managed locker systems and compliant garment laundering services.
Providing expert advice on workwear and PPE compliance, including flame-resistant, chemical splash, and high-visibility requirements.
Creating and presenting compelling commercial proposals.
Working collaboratively with Depot Managers to ensure new contracts are operationally efficient and commercially viable.
Managing customer onboarding and implementation before handing accounts to the customer retention team.
Recording activity and managing opportunities through Salesforce CRM.

What We're Looking For

You'll be a highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record of delivering results in a target-driven environment.

Essential Experience & Skills

Proven success in B2B new business sales.
Experience winning and developing major commercial accounts.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of PPE, workwear, garment standards, and compliance requirements.
Understanding of industrial laundry services and operational delivery models.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to build profitable business opportunities.
Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
Full UK driving licence.
